That isn't a motivation problem. It's fear of being wrong, and school is where most of us learn it.
Why it matters
We reward students for being right, and without meaning to, we teach them to fear being wrong. But every idea, invention and act of courage starts with being willing to get it wrong first.
Where losing face cuts deep, that fear runs deeper. The Failure School helps young people treat a mistake as information instead of a verdict, so they keep trying the things that matter.

Our four-week course, adapted for the classroom and taught by your teachers.
For students
The same four chapters, adapted by age: unlearn the fear, learn the method, try it live, carry it forward. Every student who finishes becomes a Certified Failure.
Teachers as coaches
We train and certify your teachers as Certified Failure Coaches, so it lives in your school long after we leave.
Fits your timetable
It runs inside the wellbeing and social-emotional learning (SEL) time you already have. It isn't another subject to squeeze in.

Questions schools ask
Is this extra work for our teachers?
We do the heavy lifting at the start, and it runs in time you already set aside for wellbeing. Certification is there to make it easier for teachers to run over time.
What age group is it for?
We adapt it by age. Tell us about your students and we'll shape the pilot around them.
Do students get certified?
Yes. Every student who finishes becomes a Certified Failure: a badge of honor for trying something they might get wrong. The coach certification is for teachers.
Can you run an in-person session first?
Yes. We run three-hour in-person sessions for schools by request, which can be a good way to see it before a pilot.
